DFAT Webinar on Recognised Development Expenditure
Recognised Development Expenditure (RDE) is the annual eligible expenditure of an NGO, using contributions from the Australian community. RDE is used to determine eligibility for DFAT accreditation, and to calculate the annual Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) grant amount for Full level accredited NGOs. This webinar is the first in the series from DFAT for 2018 and is targeted at member organisations currently holding DFAT accreditation or considering applying for accreditation. By the end of the webinar participants will have a deeper understanding of what RDE is, what it is used for and how to calculate it. The presenters will explain the process of RDE submissions to DFAT, and highlight some of the common errors to be avoided when calculating RDE. It is recommended that participants read the RDE Explanatory Notes prior to the webinar.
